Privacy Policy

1. Account and learning data

Supabase Auth handles sign-in and registration. Account email, identifiers and sessions support authentication. Video IDs, transcripts, translations, outlines, saves, notes, screenshots, practice answers, feedback, reading positions and your selected native language support learning and synchronization. They are stored in Supabase databases or private image storage.

2. AI, transcript and video services

Video IDs and subtitle languages are sent to the YouTube Transcriptor service on RapidAPI. Translation, explanation, connections and feedback send relevant transcript excerpts, context and submitted answers to the OpenAI API. The player connects directly to YouTube, which may process network information and cookies under its own policies. Vercel hosts the website and infrastructure may retain operational and security logs. Providers may process data outside your country.

3. Cookies and device preferences

Authentication uses cookies. Language cookies remember the interface and native language; a guest choice is synchronized to the account after sign-in. Reading display preferences stay in browser storage. The current website code does not integrate advertising trackers; embedded videos and third-party infrastructure have their own processing practices. Clearing browser data removes local preferences, not cloud learning records.

4. Microphone and screen access

Recording begins only when you enable the microphone. Audio lasts up to 90 seconds, stays on the current page for playback and is cleared when you leave; this recording feature does not upload audio. Typed answers and feedback are saved. Screenshots are processed when you authorize window capture or upload an image; they upload to private storage when you save. Do not submit sensitive information about others or content you are not entitled to process.

5. Retention, management and deletion

You can edit and remove saves. Removing a save does not automatically delete original materials, practice records or uploaded image files. The interface does not currently offer complete account deletion or data export. The official contact for these requests will be added when operator details are confirmed. Provider settings affect logs and backups; this draft does not promise immediate or complete erasure.

6. Security and updates

Authentication and database access rules isolate account data; images use protected endpoints. No service can guarantee absolute security. This notice will change as features and processing change. The legal operator, contact email and applicable regional rights disclosures remain to be completed.
